Dress for Success Western Australia is a registered charity dedicated to empowering women to achieve economic independence. We provide a network of support, professional attire and career development tools to help women thrive in work and life.

Who we are

We welcome women from all backgrounds who are comfortable in women’s spaces. Our services are inclusive and designed to support anyone facing barriers to employment.

How we help

To schedule a styling or career support appointment, please contact us at info@dressforsuccesswa.org. We offer both in-person and virtual appointments to accommodate your needs.

We accept new and gently-used, work-appropriate women’s clothing, shoes, handbags, and accessories. Items should be clean, in good condition, and suitable for job interviews or professional settings. We also accept other quality items that are not considered work appropriate as we can direct them to our monthly fundraising sales, the proceeds of which are then directed back into our service to allow us to help more WA women.

Our offices are open Tuesday-Thursday 9am-4pm and we can accept donations throughout these hours. Please do not leave bags of items outside of our operating hours as they may be stolen or tampered with, creating more work for our volunteers. We appreciate your support in helping women prepare for employment opportunities.

Yes, all donations over $2 are tax-deductible. We will provide a receipt upon request for your records.

Volunteers are vital to our mission. To join our team:

1. Complete the Volunteer Enquiry form on our Volunteer Page.
2. Attend an information session.
3. Confirm your commitment to volunteer on an agreed regular basis.
4. Complete the application form and give consent for a National Police Check (the cost of this is covered by DFSWA)
5. Begin volunteering with support from experienced team members.

Walk West for WA Women is a community-driven fundraising and awareness initiative that supports women across Western Australia on their journey to employment and economic independence.

Participants come together to “walk west” towards our HQ in West Perth, raising vital funds and highlighting the barriers many women face when trying to enter or return to the workforce. Every step taken and every dollar raised provides practical support, professional clothing, and career development services to women who need it most.

By joining the walk, participants help build confidence, connection, and opportunity for WA women—right here in our local community.

Our preloved clothing sales are regular fundraising fashion events that are entirely volunteer-powered, featuring designer and premium brands at affordable prices. Proceeds support our programs, and the sales promote sustainable fashion practices. This is the easiest way to support our purpose and to refresh your own wardrobe in a way that loves the planet simultaneously.

Importantly, Dress for Success WA is a Western Australian charity, and all funds raised stay in WA to directly support women in our local community.
