Welcoming Our CEO: Natalie Sangalli Joins the Board of Volunteering WA

We’re thrilled to announce that our CEO, Natalie Sangalli, has accepted an invitation to join the Board of Volunteering WA – the peak body representing volunteering efforts across Western Australia.

Shared Mission, Amplified Impact

Volunteering WA exists to “empower people and communities to enrich Western Australia,” working across community, government, corporate, and education sectors.

With her new role, Natalie will bring insights from her work at Dress for Success Western Australia and other community organisations – bridging gaps between social services, community support and state-wide volunteering strategy.

Decades of Leadership – Now at the Forefront of Volunteer Governance

Natalie has more than 20 years’ experience in senior leadership across government, private and not-for-profit sectors, with deep expertise in governance, risk management, financial oversight and strategic planning.

She’s no stranger to managing complex programs and driving meaningful change — skills that will support Volunteering WA’s mission to strengthen volunteer-involving organisations and build community capacity.

What This Means for the Community & Our Work

• Stronger Collaboration: Natalie’s dual leadership roles (at Dress for Success WA and now on the Volunteering WA board) build stronger links between women’s empowerment, social justice, community services and the broader volunteering sector.

• Informed Advocacy: Her background across government, housing, homelessness and social services brings a well-rounded viewpoint that can help shape volunteer policy, advocacy and support – especially for vulnerable or marginalised communities.
